I underwent cataract surgeries for both my eyes recently. The doctor and the staff made every effort to make me feel comfortable as I was anxious and nervous. My eyes have healed well. Thank you very much to the doctor and his team for the stress-free treatment. My mother had also undergone the same surgery 20 years ago and nothing has changed, same high quality treatment and hospitality.

I want to share my disappointing experience with Pradnya Nethralaya.

I took my mother there for an eye check-up, but unfortunately, she developed an eye infection after the tests. The doctors wanted to perform a retina test, so they administered dilating eye drops. What concerned me was that the drops were given four times over a period of almost 2.5 hours. I had never seen dilating drops administered for such a long duration, and I became worried at that point.

After the examination, my mother started experiencing severe eye pain and discomfort, which continued for two days. We visited the hospital again to report the issue. The staff acknowledged that she had developed an infection, but despite this, we were still charged for the eye drops prescribed to treat the infection.

This experience was very upsetting. I expected better hygiene, care, and accountability from a specialized eye hospital. I hope they improve their procedures so that other patients do not have to go through a similar experience.

Had a great experience with Pradnya eye care. Doctors were extremely professional & at the same time give a personal touch to the patient. The clinic is spic & span with well trained support staff like Shoba, Priyanka & others. The atmosphere too is very friendly. Well organized set up. You can't find a better place for any of your eye care need.
Dr. Sriram Ramalingam is an expert surgeon ably assisted by Dr. Pradnya who is also the Anaesthetist.

We are regularly visiting from 2010 to this Pradnya Nethralaya. I had done cataract for myself in 2015. Now same cataract for my wife also done 2026. Dr.Sriram Ramalingam & Dr.Pradnya were very good with always smiling face when meeting the patients. All staff here also very polite and co operate at all times. They explain everything about how to use the drops, how to clean the eyes and many related to the care of eyes.

We really very happy and the surgery took hardly in 15 to 20 minutes.

We are recommending this Pradnya Nethralaya to the people who are really in need of any consultation for eyes.💐🙏

I had one of the best experiences at Pradnya Nethralaya for my mother’s cataract surgery. Dr. Sriram Ramalingam is truly a master of surgery; the entire procedure was smooth and handled with incredible expertise.

The clinical process is very well-structured—the team informs you of every step, ensuring both the patient and the family are comfortable throughout. The attendants also deserve a special mention; they treat patients with so much support, respect, and genuine care, which makes a huge difference.

A special thanks to the Admin team, specifically Ms. Shobha, Ms. Sheeba, and Ms. Asha, along with others whose names I may not recall. They were exceptionally informative and accommodating with everything from insurance and billing to scans. They were even ready to extend support over the phone for any follow-up questions.

For any eye-related issues, I highly recommend this hospital. Professional, supportive, and expert care!

Some people are Human Medicine. You spend some time with them and you feel relaxed. This was my personal experience at Pradnya Nethralaya. Recently I underwent the Cataract surgery in both my eyes. One on Tuesday 11/11/2025 and the other one on Friday 14/11/2025. I just want to say that I am very comfortable and at ease. I would like to mention about the staff. Excellent experience at Pradnya Nethralaya! Dr. Sriram Dr. Nazia, and Sheila are extremely kind, professional, and cooperative. The entire staff deserves an appreciation👏 for being helpful, courteous, and always ready to guide you at every step.

A special mention goes to Sheeba from the billing and insurance desk she is truly proactive and efficient in getting things done quickly. Pinky, the counselor, was an exceptional guide throughout the process. Though I don’t recall everyone’s names, each team member played a part in ensuring my father received outstanding care during and after his cataract surgery.
